Nagpur: VIA Lady Entrepreneurs Wing organised a talk by Pragati Gokhale, MGIRI on “Entrepreneurship in Digital Era”.

Earlier, Pragati Gokhale, Senior scientific Officer, Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialization (MGIRI) shared with one and all about her entrepreneurial journey of making softwares. She suggested that a virtual identity be created to get orders from abroad as well.

She also explained in details about digital marketing and Website Development. She mentioned that all Women entrepreneurs do not need to spend money on building website for their business promotion individually. She mentioned that one can get listed on business directories for promoting their business.

Gokhale suggested the use of various social media networks like Linked in, facebook for promoting your business. She also suggested to take the benefit of websites like market mirchi, rural haat for selling your products online.

Gokhale further said that E-commerce is rapidly growing and is a buzzword used by one and all today. To be successful in reaching out to maximum number of target audience even beyond boundaries one should have an online presence. She also explained to the audience about crowd funding and social entrepreneurship. Documentation in an organized manner comes handy for getting funds. She also went on to mention that site like Keeto.com is a good example for crowd funding.

Earlier Anita Rao, IPP, VIA LEW welcomed Pragati Gokhale with floral compliments. Program was conducted by Rita Lanjewar.
