Nagpur: One person died while four others including two kids were injured when a three-wheeler APE was hit by a truck on Kalamna Ring Road on Friday afternoon. The name of the deceased is Mehboob Ali Muqdar Ali, 42, a resident of Wandevi Nagar. Those injured are Mehboob Ali’s wife Shakeela Bano, sons Masoom Ali, sister-in-law Shakila Mohammad Tahir and her son Razzak Ansari, residents of Sangam.

According to the police sources Meboob Ali was going with his family in 3-wheeler APE MH 40 AC 1190 from Kalamna Ring Road and a truck MH 31 CQ 5530 hit the 3-wheeler. When the auto was on Kalamna road near Oberio Palace a recklessly driven truck hit the auto and it overturned. Soon after the accident the truck driver fled from the spot. Mehboob Ali Muqdar Ali who seriously died on spot. ‘

On getting the information Yashidhara Nagar police registered a case against the absconding truck driver and are further investigating.
