Nagpur News : One military jawan died while six others injured after an explosion took place during training of military jawans in Chaoni, Kamptee on Monday night. While the authorities were denying about any explosion, an enquiry order has been sent by ministry.
The deceased has been identified as Saleem Akhtar Walikar. According to the information received, jawans were undergoing training of Missile launching training at Missile operation training unit.
As told during the training, the jawans were adding Oxider in the container when suddenly the explosion took place. Sources informed that the container exploded and its heavy particles hit many jawans. Among seven injured Walikar succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning while others are undergoing treatment at Military hospital.
Senior officials refused to share any details about the incident and even few of them denied about such untoward incident.
