On November 4, 2013, between 9:40 pm to 9:50 pm the complainant Amit Diwakar Deshmukh (28) and a resident of Shivshankar Nagar, Near Telephone Nagar along with his brothers Sachin Deshmukh and Pawan Deshmukh had gone to Country liquor vend belonging to the family of Deshmukhs situated at Dighori Naka under the jurisdiction of Hudkeshwar Police Station.
There, one of the four unidentified persons who, after consuming liquor vomited within the shop premises. Pawan Deshmukh, the brother of the complainant, scolded him for that. An argument ensued over this scolding and one of the four accused attacked Pawan and Sachin in the stomach with a sharp edged knife and injured them critically. Similarly, one of the accused broke a glass bottle on the head of Pawan.
The injured complainants are being treated at Cure It Hospital. Based on the complaint lodged by Saponi Dhadge, the Hudkeshwar police has registered a case under section 307, 34 of Indian Penal Code and have started investigation into the matter.
