In a move to reassure the citizens of North Nagpur, MP Vilas Muttemwar undertook rally on foot (Padyatra) from Punjabi Line Gurudwara on March 26, 2014 from 10:30 am.
10:10 am: MP Vilas Muttemwar reaching out to the denizens of Punjabi Line, where the residents welcomed him. He was accompanied by lot of Congress Party activists, women activists and enthusiastic youth. People came out from the houses to greet the leader.
10:20 am: While in Bezonbagh, MP Vilas Muttemwar was fondly welcomed by many Punjabi residents.
10:35 am: MP Vilas Muttemwar reaching out to the denizens of Henu Colony area, where the residents welcomed him..
10:45 am: MP Vilas Muttemwar reaching out to the denizens of Jaripatka area, where the residents welcomed him. Many traders from the Sindhi community welcomed him with great joy.
They assured of their continued support. He was garlanded by many traders there. Many were seen even falling at his feet to seek his blessings.
11:00 am: MP Vilas Muttemwar reaching out to the denizens of Kasturbha Nagar area, where the residents welcomed him. He was garlanded by many Budhist residents.
11:15 am: MP Vilas Muttemwar reaching out to the denizens of Martin Nagar Christian Colony, where many Christians welcomed him with great enthusiasm. He went into a house in Martin Nagar, sat for a few seconds, and had a glass of water.
