Srinagar/Nagpur: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said it was good that Home Minister Rajnath Singh will travel to Pakistan for the SAARC ministerial conference as the two countries need to remain engaged.
“Good to see that in spite of the rants on TV & the trolls on Twitter @rajnathsingh will travel to Pakistan,” Omar wrote on Twitter. He was reacting to reports that the home minister will go to Pakistan to attend the SAARC conference.
“We need to remain engaged,” Omar said. Rajnath will be on a two-day visit to Islamabad to attend the SAARC ministerial conference beginning August 3.
