Nagpur News: Two unidentified mobike-borne robbers snatched a gold chain worth Rs 25,000 from an old woman in Jaripatka Police Station area on Tuesday. According to information, Eric Anthony Mary Anthony (60), a resident of A/34, Martin Nagar, had gone to vegetable market with her son. While coming back from the market, two unidentified youths came from behind and snatched the gold chain of Eric. Before Eric could raise an alarm, the youths had already fled the spot.
On the complaint of Eric, Jaripatka Police registered an offence of chain-snatching against the unidentified youths under the Sections 392 and 34 of the IPC, informed PSI Ramteke. Further investigations are under way.
