He was addressing the technical team of OCW at Kanhan Water Treatment Plant on Monday. Orange City Water (OCW) conducted a Safety Mock Drill at Kanhan WTP wherein technical staff members off all 5 water treatment plants including Pench I, II, III at Gorewada , Pench-IV at Godhni and Kanhan WTP participated.

Deputy Director, National Civil Defence College, Rajesh Chowdhari was guest of honour while OCW CEO Sanjoy Roy and Director (Health &Safety) P K Garg, Senior NMC official Deepak Chitnis, Dy. Director (O&M) Rajesh Kalra, General Manager (Plants) Praveen Sharan, were prominently present on the occasion.
OCW CEO Sanjoy Roy and Deputy Director National Civil Defence College, Rajesh Chowdhari while delivering their address appealed participants to make Safety as habit. Safety precautions should be taken by everybody everywhere.
The basic idea behind organizing the event was to ensure Health and Safety are integrated in work culture & life style. Renew the commitment of the employees towards Health and Safety and achieve greater participation of the employees in Occupational Health & Safety activities of OCW.
On the occasion National Civil Defence College (NCDV) team members conducted a day long training programme on Disaster Management.
A mock drill regarding fire safety and site evacuation was conducted under the supervision on OCW Safety Manager Amit Gedam.
On the occasion a SAFETY PLEDGE was administered to the participants by Head: Communications & Public Relation, Sachin Dravekar.
Praveen Sharan conducted proceedings while Amit Gedam proposed a vote of thanks.
