Nagpur: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Western India Regional Council (ICAI-WRC) chairman Sunil Patodia was felicitated by Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) during former’s goodwill visit to the latter.
NVCC chairman Prakash Mehadia offered Patodia a shawl-shriphal and a bouquet, and it was followed by a detailed discussion on GST (goods and services tax).
Speaking on the occasion, Patodia said, due to GST, maximum commodities across the country would have common rates. However, there are certain anomalies in GST, but the government is trying to remove them, he added.
All members of NVCC were introduced to Patodia. Similarly, Patodia was introduced to the members by Jaiprakash Parekh (Secy, NVCC) while Sachin Puniyani proposed the vote of thanks.
Prominently present among others were Hemant Khungar, Sanjay K Agrawal, Ramavatar Totla, Manoj Laturiya, Suryakant Agrawal, Umang Agrawal, Kirti Agrawal and Ahswin Agrawal, informed a press note.
