Nagpur News.

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), is a scheme started by NCERT with a purpose to identify talented students of SSC (Xth class). The scheme provides financial assistance to the selected candidates in the form of scholarships.  The preliminary  exams have already been conducted in which 3932 students had appeared from Nagpur region.   Out of these 3932 students, 13 students are selected for the National-level examination.

However, the final exam of NTSE has been postponed because of a new rule of negative marking which has been introduced for the evaluation of the answer papers. The negative marking will prove to be very tough for the students. The negative marking will also result in students scoring less in the examination.

The examination was to be held on May 11, but because of the new rule it has been postponed. The exam is scheduled to be held soon. However, with such less number of students selected for the final exam, it remains to be seen, how they clear the exam in this new process of negative marking.
