Nagpur: History-sheeter Aatish, also known as Baba Rajaram Thakare, was brutally bludgeoned to death by rivals in Mahalaxmi Layout, under the jurisdiction of Kalamna Police Station. The incident took place between the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
The police have detained Sohel, Atiq, and Rahul Bagde in connection with the crime. All three individuals also have serious offenses registered against them.

According to police sources, some locals reportedly discovered the blood-stained body of Thakare in Mahalaxmi Layout on Monday morning. They immediately informed the Kalamna Police Station. Acting swiftly on this information, senior officials, along with the Crime Branch sleuths, rushed to the scene and conducted a panchanama.
After conducting a preliminary investigation, the police have detained three suspects in connection with the crime. The suspects have allegedly confessed to their involvement.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a murder case and are conducting further investigations.
