Nagpur: The North Indians in the city wholeheartedly welcomed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s decision to make available a special fund for various facilities and arrangement during Chhat Puja celebrations.
The Chhat Puja is celebrated in a grand manner by the local North Indians. The fund will be used for creating facilities and arrangements for devotees performing Chhat Puja.
This is the first time that the NMC has made available funds for Chhat Puja celebrations. The office-bearers of Bahurashtriya Chhat Vrat Sanstha Devendra Kumar, Arun Kumar Singh, Gopal Kumar Paswan, Arvind Kumar Jha, Vakil Singh and Dr Vijay Tiwari thanked the Mayor Pravin Datke and Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari for the NMC’s decision to make available funds for Chhat Puja celebrations.
