The State Election Commission has accelerated the process and is likely to declare the final reservation list on November 11, sources said. The reservation for the Mayor’s post will also be announced on the same day.
With this development, political activity has intensified across party lines. Sources suggest that major political parties may not give tickets to several sitting corporators this time, signaling a reshuffle in local leadership.
