NMC holds workshop under ‘Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana’

Nagpur: The Social Welfare Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Monday organized a one-day workshop of District Managers of all nationalized banks, Managers of District Leading Banks and Branch Managers of various other banks. The workshop, held under ‘Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana,’ was held at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan.

‘Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana’ is aimed at uplift of urban and rural poor through enhancement of livelihood opportunities through skill development and other means, financial inclusion of last man of the society and assistance to small-scale industries.

The workshop was inaugurated by Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar. Other dignitaries who attended the event include Deputy Commissioner Ranjana Lade, Arvind Shambharkar, Pramod Khobragade, Prashant Bhimanwar, and other officials. Rameshwar Burde, retired Senior Chief Manager, Bank of India and member of IBPS Interview Panel was the chief guide at the workshop.
