Nagpur: In a good news to thousands of employees of Nagpur Munnicipal Corporation (NMC). the Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar announced payment of 6 percent hiked Dearness Allowance (DA) in February salaries paid in March. The announcement came after a delegation of Rashtriya Nagpur Corporation Employees Association, led by Working President Rajesh Hathibed, met the Municipal Commissioner Hardikar, Mayor Pravin Datke and Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari and demanded payment of increased six percent DA in February wages paid in March on the lines of State Government employees.
The Association Working President Rajesh Hathibed, General Secretary Domaji Bhadang thanked the Municipal Commissioner, Mayor and Ruling Party Leader as well as Chairman of Standing Committee Ramesh Singare, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Madan Gadge and others for accepting their demand over payment of the DA.
Others who comprised the delegation include Treasurer Onkar Lakhe, Organising Secretary Ritesh Kashikar, members Pramod Barai, Kishore Tidke, Vishal Shevare, Suresh Dhopte, Ram Gaekwad, Rahul Waghmare, Dilip Meshram, Gajanan Jadhav, Meena Nakwal, Pushpa Butte, Chandrakala Kuhikar, Jyoti Waghmare, and others.
