Nagpur: Taking the construction of an apartment building not according to sanctioned map seriously, the Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) bulldozed several portions of the building and also slapped the builder with a fine and security deposit.
The offending builder has been identified as Pramod Barai. Barai, running a firm named M/s Barai Builder and Developers, had undertaken construction of a G+4 at Plot No. 165, Khasra No. 17/9, near Dhomne Layout in Ayodhya Nagar. The action was initiated under the guidance and directives of Rajiv Pimple, Executive Engineer of NIT’s South Division and was carried out by a team led by Assistant Engineer Sandeep Raut, Vinod Khulgi and other personnel.
