Nagpur: As the year 2015 comes to an end with tonight, the day started with three road mishaps which occurred within a few hours early in the morning. Unfortunately one young man of 28-years died on the spot.The killer Star Bus

Auto-Rickshaw menace claims one life
The first incident occurred hit opposite to the ticketing counter of Star Bus situated between Eternity Mall and Maharajbagh Gate. According to eye-witnesses, the 28-year-old youth identified as Avinash Sharadchandra Paricha and a resident of Bezonbagh in Jaripatka area was overtaking an Auto-Rickshaw which was stopped by the Auto-Rickshaw driver in the spot meant for Star Buses to pick-up commuters. When the Auto-Rickshaw driver braked his auto suddenly to woo some customers, the 28-year-old youth who was immediately behind the auto also applied brakes his Honda Shine Motorcycle bearing RTO Registration No. MP-28/ MG-1350. This sudden brake caused him to slip and fall. Unfortunately, the youth fell down on the right-hand side on the road with traffic moving while his motorcycle fell on the left-hand side. A Star Bus bearing RTO Registration Number MH-31/ CA-6173 was just passing the way and before the driver of the Star Bus could even apply his brakes, the Star-Bus wheels went over the head of the youth killing him on the spot. The entire mishap could be attributed to the Auto-Rickshaw drivers moving in a manner that has been causing many mishaps on that spot.The spot near the rear-wheels where the Wagon-R rammed into the Tempo Traveller

Rash-driving results in Tempo Traveller getting toppled
In another case of rash driving resulting in road-mishap, a Wagon-R bearing RTO Registration No. MH-40/ AR-2376 which was moving from RTO square to Ravi-Nagar Square at great speed broke the signal in an attempt to pass-off before the signal started for the road commuters travelling from High Court to Shankar-Nagar direction and rammed into a Tempo Traveller bearing RTO Registration No. MH-49 / J-0507 which had started and was crossing the square since the signal had turned green. So severe was the impact of the Wagon-R ramming, the Tempo Traveller a mini-bus toppled over. Two passengers who were seated in the Tempo Traveller were injured in the mishap and are said to be admitted in the Hospital for treatment.
