New US Consul General meets Governor Koshyari

The newly appointed Consul General of the United States of America in Mumbai Mike Hankey met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.

The Consul General discussed his plans and priorities to promote bilateral cooperation with India. He told the Governor that more than 62000 student visas were issued from India last year. Stating that Indian students going to US for studies are goodwill ambassadors of the United States, he said his country is keen to achieve the target of 1 lakh students next year.
