New comers welcomed at GNIT once again!

A feeling of rejuvenation was in the air at the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, with the welcome of the incoming new students yet again.

The Induction Programme of first year department, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology was held on August 4, 2015, in the college Auditorium. The forum “PRATHAM PRATISHRUTI” was also installed on the same day.

The programme was initiated with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Managing Director Sr.Navneet Singhji Tuli, Managing Director Mrs.Tanpreet Kaur Tuli, Principal, GNIT Dr.N. M. Kanhe and HOD (Ist year), Prof. D.L Budhlani. All the dignitaries were offered saplings as a welcome token.

B.E. Ist year faculties were introduced to the students by Prof. D.L. Budhlani (HOD). Principal of the Institute guided the students with his remarkable and motivational words. After the installation of the forum, felicitation of previous year’s toppers was done by the honourable Principal, CMD and MD by grreting them with sapplings.

Sr. Navneet Singh Tuli CMD of Guru Nanak Institutions , has always demonstrated how a focused preservance can leave an impression on whatever endeavor is undertaken. And Tanpreet Kaur Tuli has been a constant and dynamic guiding star of GNI Society who strives hard to stand the institutions tall on the foundations of an excellent infrastructure. Both the dignitaries welcomed the students to the Guru Nanak family.

After a bit long session of lectures and guidelines, a cultural event was organized to provide a platform to boost the student’s talent. One could notice that the students voluntarily participated in the cultural activities.

The Selection of Committee members of Forum and distribution of the badges was also done the same day. Forum members took the oath, instructed by Dr. Neetu Gupta. The event ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Varsha Gaikawad.
