Nagpur: A new born baby was found lying dead in a canal at Wadi on Saturday, raising questions before the receding values and humanity! The body was recovered from the canal located in Ambedkara nagar.
Police sources said the new-born baby has either been thrown away immediately after birth or after its untimely death. The investigation into the case of abandoned dead-body of neonatal is being conducted by In-Charge of Wadi Police Station, Police Inspector Khandade.
Sources claimed that someone informed the police control room about a dead-body of a new-born baby found in a canal situated in Ambedkar Nagar.
Later Police Inspector Khandale of Wadi Police Station rushed to the spot along with his staff.
The cops had dispatched the body to government hospital after completing the formalities at the spot for post-mortem.
The cops of Wadi Police Station have registered a case against unidentified person and are investigating further.
