The new body of the Rotaract club of Gurunanak Institutions of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, under the parent club, Rotary Club of Nagpur North has been inducted. The Chief guest of the program were Rtr. A.G. Vishakha Rao, President Rtr. Girish Sadhwani , Secretary Rtr. Pooja Khatri. Another Dignitories present on the occasion were Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli CMD GNI , Mrs Tanpreet Kaur Tuli MD GNI , Dr Narendra Kanhe Principal GNIT and Dr. N.V Deshpande Principal GNIET with presence of other organizational members fof the institute. Rotractor Pinaz Raut has been inducted as the new president and 15 other rotractors have been installed as the new committee of the GNIET Rotaract Club for the year 2015-16.
CMD of the institutuion Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli briefed how The club has been providing a platform to the students to serve the society since its existence. The club has been organizing various social service events which were a great success since last three years and appreciated the student body in doing so. The newly inducted committee is all set to live upto its motto i.e. “Share A Slice of Joy” and to continue the legacy of serving the mankind and spreading happiness. The event was followed by a tree plantation drive by the guests present. Faculty Co-ordinator of the event was Dr. Kirti Doshetwar.
