Nagpur: Nayana Gunde took over the charge of additional commissioner in Nagpur Municipal Corporation on August 21 at the hands of NMC commissioner Shravan Hardikar. The charge of additional commissioner was lying with NMC commissioner after the transfer of additional commissioner Hemantkumar Pawar.

Belonging to the category of additional district collector, Nayan Gunde was earlier deputy registrar general at Nasik. She had joined the administrative service as deputy collector in year 1992, and thereafter she functioned at various administrative assignments. Her joining the municipal corporation will be her first experience.
