Nagpur: Today, the post-cards are rarely used, and if at all used, they are used by businessmen for terse correspondence. But, thanks to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis who wrote his heart-felt thoughts in Marathi on post-cards addressed to the Jawans guarding India’s borders day out and day in.

His address reads as, “Dear Jawans, you being posted on the borders of the country protect our freedom, and that is how we are safe in the country. Please accept this letter depicting our love as well as honour for you. I myself, as well as on behalf of all citizens of the state of Maharashtra, intensely feel indebted to you all.” The post-cards will be delivered to Jawans guarding the borders.
