Nagpur: Adwai Krishna (Std. XII), a student of Jain International School, has brought laurels to the school by emerging as the State topper for Maharashtra in the JEE Mains 2022 with an impressive 99.99 percentile. His score in the first Term examinations of Std. XII conducted this year by CBSE was also creditable, with him getting a top berth in the class.
Adwai has made his alma mater and the city proud by his stupendous achievement. The School Management as well as the Principal and staff of JIS extended congratulations to Adwai Krishna and wished him the very best for the forthcoming JEE Advanced as well as all his future endeavours.

On Monday, the National Testing Agency declared the result of JEE Main June 2022. On the basis of the score of this examination, students can get admission to B.E. B.Tech courses. Adwai Krishna scored 99.99 percentile. Adwai Krishna focussed mainly on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics which are core subjects for JEE Main. “I needed to score in these three subjects so I could not concentrate on other subjects like English. But language has never attracted me. Of course, I know in future I may have to face competitive examinations where soft skills like communication can be tested. Considering that aspect I would try to acquire command overlanguage,” Adwai Krishna said.
Amitkumar Srivastava, father of Adwai Krishna works as Chief Vigilance Officer in WCL while mother Shraddha is homemaker. His elder sister Shramidha has studied media communication from Manipal University. She had her earlier education from Bhavan’s B P Vidya Mandir, Ashti. Adwai Krishna too did her schooling till Class X from Bhavan’s Ashti branch. He did his Class XI and Class XII from Jain International School. Adwai has liking for Cricket and Football.
