Nagpurians throng polling booths to vote for separate Vidarbha

Nagpur News : To strengthen the agitation for separate Vidarbha, Janmanch has organised voting to support the statehood demand. 650 Polling booths were installed at various parts of the city including Railway Station, Bus Stand, and other major areas. The voting started earlyMonday morning.

BJP State President Devendra Fadnavis also casted his vote at the polling booth at Coffee House Square. A large number of citizens were seen exercising their votes at various polling booths.

Devendra Fadnavis, after casting his vote, said that the backlog of Vidarbha would not get cleared being under Maharashtra State. Vidarbha could see development only after getting a status of separate state.

It is to be mentioned that similar polling was done at Amravati a few days ago in which 85 percent people exercised their votes and supported the demand of separate Vidarbha.
