Nagpurcha Ganraja in Shiv dhol pathak avatar at Mecosabagh pandal attracts devotees

As one of the most colourful festivals – 10-Day Ganesh festival – got underway on Ganesh Chaturthi, an array of Sarvajanik Mandals installed stunning idols of the deity ranging from traditional clay idols to ones made with paper. The Mecosabagh Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal installed a beautifully-crafted idol of elephant-head got at its pandal near Kadbi Chowk , Sindhi Colony in city. The idol of Nagpurcha Ganraja depicts Shiv Dhol Pathak (band) avatar. The pandal is being visited by devotees in hordes to have a look at the novel idol of Lord Ganesh.

This year the Ganesh festival commenced on August 25 and will end on September 5 making it the 12-day celebration.
