Nagpur: The Nagpur district on Wednesday witnessed COVID 19 active cases below 1,000. District registered 945 active cases. With 185 persons becoming free from coronavirus the cumulative recovery reached 5,74,305. Recovery rate stood at 97.98%. No death was reported in the district.
Nagpur registered 55 single day COVID-19 cases. Nagpur rural reported 17 new cases while 38 persons were found positive for the virus in the city taking the cumulative positive cases to 5,85,602. COVID-19 testing in the district has further gone down to 1,506. Nagpur rural reported 210 testing while the city registered 1,296 testing. This has taken the cumulative testing to 57,51,255.
The district witnessed reduction in the number of persons taking treatment in various hospitals. District registered 44 persons in hospitals. Number of patients infected by coronavirus getting treatment at various hospitals in Nagpur include Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)- 8, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH)- 1, Kingsway-3, Railway Hospital – 3, Aureus-1, AIIMS- 5, Viveka- 8, Kalpavruksh- 3, Centre Point-1, Swasthyam Hospital-1, OCHRI 1, Avanti Hospital-1, Radiance 1, NCI 1, Sunflower-1, Shree Bhawani- 2, and Meditrina – 3.
