Nagpur News : The Nagpur Branch of Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association (WICASA) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India was adjudged as the All India Best Branch amongst 128 Branches of ICAI at the 64th Annual Function of the Institute. The Award was presented by Hon’ble Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology & Law and Justice, Kapil Sibal, Chairman WICASA, Nagpur Branch, in the Presence of National President, ICAI CA. Subodh Kumar Agrawal & Vice President, CA. K. Raghu at a glittering function held at New Delhi. This grand gala function was held at Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi and was attended by large number of Chartered Accountants AND Students from all over the country.

During the year 2013 Nagpur Branch of WICASA organized various programs in the year which includes National Convention for CA Students, Joint Seminar with various Universities, Lecture Meets, Industrial Visits, Residential Refresher Course, Seminars, Training Programmes, Workshops, Career Counseling Programmes, Chorus – Youth Festival, Vidarbha Level Indoor & Outdoor Sports, Fabulous Football, Cricket Tournament, Independence Day Rally & Blood Donation.
During the year the Branch revamped its Website with added features. The multicolor half yearly Branch news letter “WICASA VISION” with character building theme & rich contents was one of the highlights of the Branch. Thrust was given to organize various academic & non academic & social activities for the benefit of & overall personality development of Chartered Accountants Students.
Nagpur Branch of WICASA was an undisputed leader amongst all the branches all over India and has set its own standard by organizing varied mix of programmes of academics & others for students throughout the year uniformly which has made our orange city proud and added new feather in the Cap of Nagpur Branch.
