Rains abate and poll turn-out increases.

Citizens finding their names in the list
: The Varun God seemed to have been displeased with the candidates of Nagpur constituencies during the morning hours. The rains and wet weather had prevented people to venture out and cast their votes. However, as the rains abated, the poll percentage has increased.

Nagpur North constituency (57), registered a poll percentage of 39.30 % till 3 pm. The Nagpur East (54) constituency recorded a poll percentage of 36.58%. One of the constituencies which recorded a good poll percentage of 41.92 % is the Nagpur West Constituency (56). This could also be because the weather favoured the voters who could turn up in large numbers. The Nagpur Central Constituency (55) recorded a poll percentage of 39.05%.

Though the rains abated, the poll percentage in Nagpur South constituency (53) recorded a low of 36.12. The weather conditions at Nagpur South West (52) too were similar to Nagpur South, but it recorded a significant poll percentage of 39.40%.
