Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s (RTMNU) presentation was one of the best presentations during the Indian Science Congress 2015 organized at Mumbai. The presentations included seven posters and six live models.
This was informed by Pro-Vice Chancellor (Pro-V-C) of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU). He told this at a press conference organized in the Convocation Hall in RTMNU Premises on January 31, 2015.
A committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr D K Agrawal for this presentation at Indian Science Congress 2015. The Committee included Dr K C Deshmukh and Dr Ravindra Ksheersagar. They then formed a team who presented Scientific Models and various other projects.
Associate Professor Post Graduate Teaching Department of Physics Dr. S. J. Dhoble was main the Chief Coordinator. The Indian Science Congress 2015 was organized at Mumbai from January 3, 2015 to January 7, 2015. Right from 10 am in the morning to 6 pm in the evening nearly two thousand five hundred people visited the stall of Nagpur University. This also included former students of Nagpur University, experts and prominent personalities.
Dr. Sanjay Dhoble, Dr. V Y Karadbhajne, Dr M M Ray presented a project on Sericulture. Dr D D Barsagde, Dr. S S Pande, Dr A Chaturvedi, Dr Satish Sharma presented scientific models. Apart from students of RTMNU, students of B D College of Engineering, Sewagram, Ramdeo Baba College of Engineering and management, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Y C College of Engineering, G H Raisoni College of Engineering and MIT College of Engineering also participated in the Indian Science Congress 2015.
On behalf of Nagpur University, Dr Anil Hirekan of Development Department, Ganesh Kumkumwar of General Administration, Dr Sudhakar Bansod of Material Science Department also reached Mumbai to provide all support to the students and in representing Nagpur University.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Murlidhar Chandekar, Registrar Dr Ashok Gomase, Director of BCUD Shrikant Komavar, Accounts Officer Puran Meshram, Baban Taiwade, Dr K C Deshmukh and others were prominently present during the press conference.
