Nagpur: This October 2nd holds special significance for us: not only is it Gandhi Jayanti, the day the Father of the nation was born, but it also happens to be the first day of Durga Puja, the pure day of ‘Mahalaya’. We are proud that Nagpur Today also came into existence on this day – the torch bearer of a new age in Journalism. A new medium but harbinger of all the old, time tested and cherished values which makes press the 4th pillar of democracy. We were honoured to have Shri Banwarilalji Purohit, the Chairman of Hitavada and now Governor of Assam usher us into the world showered with blessings from all other news fraternity of the city as well.
