“Nagpur has done very well in Swachh Survekshan 2018. Nagpur’s Ranking has jumped from 137th to 55th, which is a huge progress. Nagpur has scored very high under Direct Observation & Citizen feedback, which shows Nagpur Municipal Corporation has been able to reach out citizens and citizens too have responded well.

Less score in Service level Progress may be due to non availability of Solid Waste Treatment Plant. Credit of the success goes to Nanda Jichkar, Mayor , Ashwin Mudgal, Dist. Collector, Virendra Singh, NMC Commissioner & their team for their efforts,” said Kaustav Chatterjee, Brand Ambassador Swacch Bharat Abhiyan of Nagpur City,
