Nagpur: Samudre gang’s head nabbed for threatening bar owner in Khamla

Nagpur: Pratap Nagar police has registered a case against Sandip alias Gappu Samudre and his accomplices for threatening a Bar owner and also for sabotaging bar premises on the intervening night of Tuesday.

It is learnt that, complainant Prakash Kotwani resident of Sindhi Colony owns a R K bar on Khamla Road. However along with his two friends Sandip Samudre, head of Samudre gang visited R K bar round 10.30pm on Tuesday.

After few drinks, Sandip and his friends started misbehaving with bar staff, annoyed with their daft arguments complainant asked them to leave. Subsequently Sandip started accosting and threading complainant Prakash with dire consequences.

When Prakash informed Pratap Nagar police station, in the meantime 10-12 goons of Samudre gang come into sight with swords in their hands and started sabotaging the bar.

As soon as police reach the bar, the goons absconded from the spot.

The police have booked Sandip Samudre and his accomplice under section 143, 147, 149, 427 of IPC. Further probe is underway.
