Nagpur: True philanthropy is reaching out to the under-privileged. Giving back to society is a concept that is employed in its true word by Round Table India. The local chapters of Round Table India leave no stones unturned in reaching out to the under-privileged.
Working on their commitment to undertake a project every alternate week, Nagpur Spirits Round Table-258 along with Nagpur Ladies Circle-50 and ‘Friends For Care’ Non-Government-Organization, conducted an interactive session on oral and dental hygiene with the children of Vivekanand Prathmik Sadan.
They provided dental and oral hygiene kits sponsored by Tabler Priyank Diwanka and Circler Dr Sakshi Diwanka, who also happened to be the Project Conveners, to 60 underprivileged slum kids studying in the school.
The LAPD session was conducted by Dr Poonam Hudiya of Care Dental Clinic and Circler Dr Sakshi Diwanka, in which they made the kids aware of importance of oral and dental hygiene, significance of washing hands before meals and brushing teeth post meals.
