Nagpur traffic police have announced night-time closure of Ram Jhula road due to essential repair work on the bridge. The restriction will be in place from February 20 to February 23, every night between 11 pm and 6 am.
The work involves filling expansion joints and replacing bridge bearings. During this period, traffic movement from Jaistambh Square towards Mayo Hospital Square will remain closed to ensure commuter safety and prevent congestion.
Vehicles coming from the DRM Office side towards Mayo Hospital will be diverted. Ambulances will be allowed, while other vehicles will be rerouted via Railway Station, Jaistambh Chowk, Ganesh Tekdi Road, Lohapul, and Cotton Market Square, depending on traffic conditions.
Nagpur Traffic Police have advised motorists to plan journeys accordingly, follow diversion signs, and cooperate with traffic personnel to avoid inconvenience during the night hours.
