Nagpur: The Wadi police have successfully solved a robbery case within two days, arresting three accused and recovering stolen property worth approximately ₹1.32 lakh.
The incident occurred near the Ordnance Factory premises in Wadi, where a man was robbed at knifepoint by three individuals while returning home from work.
On the night of October 18, Shrikrishna Lingaappa Jhadkhande, a resident of Davlameti and employee of Wellmet Technology Pvt. Ltd., MIDC Hingna, was heading home after completing his shift. When he passed through a secluded area behind Kalimata Temple near the Ordnance Factory, three unidentified men pushed him to the ground, assaulted him, and fled after snatching his mobile phone and cash.
Based on his complaint, Wadi Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Through technical analysis and swift action, the police apprehended all three accused — Pramod Kisan Das, Abhilash Bhanudas Somkuwar, and Sanjay Ramchandra Dongre — within 48 hours.
The police recovered five mobile phones, a two-wheeler, and other valuables totaling around ₹1,32,000. Further investigation into the case is underway.
