Nagpur: Voting for the Nagpur Municipal Corporation General Election 2025–26 is underway today, January 15, 2026, across the city. According to official information from the election administration, a total voter turnout of 41.09 percent was recorded till 3:30 PM.
Polling began at 7:00 AM at various polling stations across Nagpur. Compared to the morning hours, voter participation picked up significantly in the afternoon.
Citizens were seen lining up at polling booths in several wards, indicating a steady rise in voter enthusiasm as the day progressed.

Although minor technical issues related to EVMs were reported at a few polling centers earlier in the day, election officials clarified that the problems were promptly resolved and the voting process is currently proceeding smoothly.

With several hours of polling still remaining, officials expect the overall voting percentage to increase further by evening. Adequate police security arrangements have been put in place across the city to ensure peaceful and fair polling.
