Nagpur: There were jubilations in the BJP camp as the results of the elections to the 28 seats of Nagpur Metro Region were declared on May 19, 2015. With the voting percentage at almost 99 per cent, the results which were declared on May 19, showed a remarkable swing to the BJP. The counting of votes began at 8 am at Sanskritik Bhawan in Sitabuldi. According to the results of the counting of votes, arriving to the media personnel, Bharatiya Janata Party has registered a win of 14 seats Congress Party closely behind with 9 seats Nationalist Congress Party with 2 seats Shiv Sena bagging 1 seat, Bahujan Samajwadi Party with 1 seat and Independent candidates 1 seat.
