Nagpur: Fortnight after a man who suffocated to death during intercourse here in Khaparkheda, the District and Additional Sessions Judge S S Deshpande on Monday granted bail to his girlfriend.
The court granted conditional bail to the woman asking her to execute RP and a surety bond of Rs 25,000 each. She has been also asked by the court to cooperate with Khaparkheda police and not to tamper with the evidence. She has also been asked to refrain from leaving Nagpur without permission for the court till the filing of the chargesheet.
A 28-year-old man had died at Khaparkheda based lodge in Nagpur on January 8 due to suffocation after a rope tied around his neck during sex proved fatal. The man along with a woman booked a room at a lodge on Thursday night to spend time together. After watching a porn clip, the woman tied his hands and legs to a chair with a rope during sex. She allegedly used another rope around his neck.
The woman then went to the washroom, just when the chair to which the man was tied, slipped and the rope around his neck got tightened. When the woman returned, she found her partner lying motionless. The woman informed the manager and the man’s body was sent for post-mortem.
Following the complaint of the father of the deceased, the woman was booked in this regard.
