Nagpur: A disturbing case of alleged child sexual abuse has emerged from the Sadar Police Station jurisdiction in Nagpur, where a 14-year-old girl has accused her own father of repeatedly sexually assaulting her over the past year.

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly subjected the minor to continuous sexual abuse while threatening to kill both the victim and her mother if she disclosed the assaults. The repeated death threats reportedly kept the girl in fear and prevented her from reporting the abuse for several months.

Police stated that the accused is the victim’s biological father and that the alleged abuse continued for nearly a year. After gathering the courage to speak out, the minor approached the Sadar Police Station with her mother and narrated the ordeal.

Following the complaint, police registered a case and launched an investigation. The identity of the minor has been withheld in accordance with legal provisions protecting child victims of sexual offences.

The accused has not been arrested so far. Legal proceedings have been initiated under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, with further investigation currently underway.
