Nagpur is the new destination for ‘Cinema of Resistance Campaign’

Nagpur: Nagpurians will gather in Dhanwate National College from 15th to 17th September to watch the landmark movies made during the birth of cinema in India. Anhe Ghoda da Daan, Neighbours, Glass, Zoo, Garam Hawa will all be showcased for the city public to realise the journey Indian Cinema has covered.

Started twelve years ago, the ‘Cinema of Resistance Campaign’ is carried out in a different city every year. Every year, selected films, filmmakers and intellectuals appear in a city and discuss the cinema of India.

Nagpur has been chosen during the time when ‘Freedom of Speech’ is being questioned all over the nation. City the centre of RSS and renowned for the same.
