Nagpur: The Crime Branch Unit-5 has reportedly solved four house-breaking cases in Nagpur and arrested two accused persons. Police have also detained a minor in connection with the investigation and recovered stolen property worth ₹4.57 lakh.
The cases were reported in the jurisdiction of Bhandewadi, Kapil Nagar and Kalamna police stations.

According to police, a house in Sonbaji Nagar under Bhandewadi Police Station was burgled on the night of August 12. The accused allegedly broke the lock and latch of the house and stole gold and silver ornaments along with cash.
Following the complaint, Bhandewadi Police registered a case, while Crime Branch Unit-5 conducted a parallel investigation.
Acting on a tip-off, police detained Mayur Nagdeve, Nilam Ansari and a minor for questioning. During the investigation, the names of Amol Chaphekar and Govind Sakhare allegedly surfaced.
Police said the accused are suspected of being involved in a total of four house break-ins — two in the Bhandewadi area, one in Kapil Nagar and another in the Kalamna Police Station jurisdiction.
According to investigators, the stolen property was allegedly handed over to the detained persons for disposal. Based on information provided during the investigation, police recovered gold and silver ornaments and other stolen property worth ₹4,57,380.
The arrested accused have been handed over to the respective police stations for further legal action. Police are continuing their search for two other suspects reportedly involved in the cases.
