Nagpur: Debate over restrictions on DJs has intensified in Nagpur. While citizens troubled by loud noise and noise pollution are demanding strict action, the livelihoods of those involved in the DJ business have also become a concern.
Against this backdrop, District Collector Kumar Ashirwad has made an important statement on the proposed restrictions. He said that the families of people involved in the DJ business also depend on it for their livelihood, and that all sides must therefore be considered in any decision.
Referring to Solapur, the District Collector said that there has been a strong demand from society regarding DJs. The administration will have to strike a balance between citizens’ difficulties, noise pollution and the livelihoods of those involved in the DJ business.
