Discussions centred on the role and importance of Military–Civil Fusion in strengthening preparedness during peacetime as well as operations. Sessions focused on improving operational coordination, building robust disaster response mechanisms, and developing dual-use infrastructure that can support both civilian requirements and national security needs. The conclave also deliberated on enhancing capabilities through academia-backed research and development, pushing Aatmanirbharta in defence, improving response in contingency situations, and leveraging the role of NCC and veterans in nation-building.

Addressing the conclave, Maj Gen Navtej Singh Sohal emphasised Military–Civil Fusion as a key enabler for efficient resource utilisation and stronger national preparedness. He underscored the need for establishing a formal and institutionalised framework to sustain this collaboration, aligning it with the 2047 development objectives of Viksit Bharat. He also highlighted upcoming regional events planned to further strengthen coordination and maximise outcomes.

The conclave concluded on a positive note, with participating departments expressing strong support for the initiative. A broad consensus emerged on setting up structured coordination mechanisms, periodic engagements and integrated planning, reinforcing a whole-of-nation approach towards security, disaster management and development. Organisers termed the conclave as a beginning, laying the foundation for continued apex-level and mid-level interactions over the year to deepen inter-agency synergy and deliver long-term dividends.
