It could be mentioned that Sakkardara Police had arrested five assailants for their alleged involvement in the murder of goon-turned-realtor who was also in the business of private money lending. The murder had occurred at Seven Hill Liquor Bar at Sakkardara.

Police had claimed that accused Bhuwesh Tichkule and Amol Mandale were arrested following information collected from mastermind Tushar Dalal and his accomplice Kunal Maske who were taken into custody. Police got the remand of Dalal and Maske till January 17 producing them before the court. The murder was caught by security camera of the bar.
