Nagpur: Sonal Patel Khara, a Nagpur artist is poised to exhibit her works in London, United Kingdom, as her art has been selected for the prestigious exhibition ‘Palette of India’ curated by Picon Bhattacharjee, at the Nehru Centre which comes under the High Commission of India in London.
The exhibition will be held between May 27 and May 31, 2024. Sonal Khara is a distinguished artist known for her Rudraksh paintings, Navdurga and other spiritual themes, which have been admired and collected by prominent figures. Currently, Sonal’s inclusion in the esteemed exhibition at UK, is a significant achievement, providing her the opportunity to showcase Indian art on an international platform. Her art has touched the hearts of many through spirituality and culture, earning recognition at the international level. Many of her paintings are collected in the USA.
Sonal Khara has been presented with awards like International Art Excellence Award 2020, All India Viewers Choice Award 2021 and Gold Medal in 2019. She is also recognised as one of the prominent faces of ‘Colours and Canvas’ in Kolkata, one of India’s leading art organisations. Sonal has graced numerous exhibitions as the chief guest at prestigious galleries such as the India Habitat Centre, Triveni Kala Sangam, Academy of Fine Arts, and many more.
She has also inaugurated exhibitions alongside eminent artists like Padmashri Biman Das, Subrata Gangopadhyay, Wasim Kapoor, Rakhi Roy and others. She was born in Chaibasa, Jharkhand.
