Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in grand way in India. To mark the occasion Muttemwar family celebrated the joyous occasion with close friends and relatives. The entire family was excited to bring Lord Ganesha into their home. The entire family was attired in traditional Maharashtrian attire. The home aptly named “Hridaykunj” had people with big heart to welcome everyone. The home was elegantly decorated with roses. The main entrance was decorated with Jasmine (Mogra) flowers that gave a traditional look to their home and the scent of the flowers rendered the atmosphere with an enchanted scent. This year they had chosen a very simple yet elegant wooden-themed décor for the throne of Lord Ganesha. Everyone was mesmerized at the beauty of the idol. The family members were enthusiastically serving “Ganpati ka Mahaprashad” in a perfectly Maharashtrian style which was delicious and spicy.
While few men were dressed in traditional Kurta-Pajama ensemble, most ladies were dressed in long-lengths suits, Kurti-plazzos, Slit-end Kurtis, Kosa Silk Sarees and designer Sarees of myriad colours.
On the whole, almost every family member and guest infused the sense of life in all its glory. Happiness mixed with religious fervor reflected in them.
Young Entrepreneur and Managing Editor of My Career Vishal Muttemwar was attired in blue Kurta-pajama ensemble while his wife Janki looking beautiful in pink coloured designers saree. Managing Director of VRG Publications Gitesh Muttemwar and Rukumbara too were attired in yellow coloured outfit to match with each other.
