Musical album “Sambuddha” giving Bhagwan Buddha’s message dedicated

A musical album “Sambuddha” dedicated to Buddha, Dhamma and Sangh was released on Wednesday, March 22 at a function held at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall at 7 pm. The album, a Global Peace Initiative Musical Album, was released at the hands of Mayor Nanda Jichkar.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion include lyricist of the album Santosh alias Pava, Standing Committee Chairman Sandeep Jadhav, Secretary of Musicians Federation of India Kishore Javade, Awaz India’s Director Aman Kamble, city’s renowned neurologist Dr Sanjay Ramteke, RTMNU Deputy Registrar Dr Anil Herekan, NMC PRO Ashok Kolhatkar, Bodhi Foundation’s Lalit Khobragade, England’s Pritam Bulkunde, Bhadant Nagprakash, Germany’s Liya, American musician Sam, Bhadant Atdarsh and others.

The “Sambuddha” musical album is the concept of lyricist Santosh alias Pava and is in Hindi and Pali languages. Significantly, the music for the album has been provided by musicians from Spain, Germany and America. A live performance by Germany’s Liya and America’s Sam wa presented on the occasion. The songs in the album have been provided music in Spain and the making has also been done in that country. This is the first time that the album was dedicated in India at the Nagpur function.

The event got off to a start with a song rendered by Pava “Jaisa Tu Sochega Waisa Ban Jayega, Apnehi Jeevan Me Hariyali Layega, Sukh Ka Ghar Tere Andar, Uske Bahar Talash Na Kar.” City’s singer Manasi Dhande gave accompaniment to the the song. The songs of the album are based on “Sukh,” “Sanskar,” “Pavitrata,” Shraddha,” and “Karya” in melodious tunes sung by Pava himself. The album has been dedicated to Dhammaguru Dalai Lama, the iconic symbol of peace and inspiration.
