The car suffered extensive damage, with both the front and rear sections completely charred. Thankfully, no injuries or loss of life occurred due to the driver’s timely action.

However, the incident caused temporary traffic congestion at Omkar Nagar Square, and thick smoke led to panic among local residents. Police officials quickly diverted traffic to reduce chaos in the area.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, but preliminary suspicions point to possible electrical malfunction, overheating engine components, or a fuel leak. Authorities from the fire and police departments are continuing their inquiry.

Experts have reiterated the importance of regular technical maintenance of vehicles. Particularly, systems like the electrical wiring, fuel lines, and engine should be routinely checked to prevent such incidents in the future. Nagpur has witnessed similar incidents in the past, highlighting the need for increased vigilance among vehicle owners.
