Nagpur: A morcha of North Nagpur citizens, led by Congress Corporators, reached the headquarters of Nagpur Municipal Corporation and protested against lack of several civic facilities in the area.
The morcha raised slogans against the Mayor Nanda Jichkar, local MLA Dr Milind Mane and NMC administration. The protesters highlighted lack of civic facilities such as irregular water supply, damaged gutter lines, non-lifting of door-to-door garbage, poor roads, frequent power outages, etc.
Holding placards of the problems being faced by them, the angry citizens met Mayor Jichkar and apprised her about lack of civic facilities. The protesters lamented that despite several complaints, the civic body is doing nothing to provide relief to them.
The morcha was led by Congress Corporators Kamalesh Chaudhary, Manoj Sangole and Neha Nikose.
